Currently searching for an experienced and highly-analytical Quality Inspector to join our production department.
As the Quality Inspector, you will uphold the safety regulations of our company and monitor the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations.
The chosen candidate should be talented, self-driven and motivated to join our team.
To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate the following:
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical dimensional and visual inspections for Final and In-Process inspections.
Create Final Inspection Reports when required using Discus software and completing as needed.
Review paperwork and prepare final cert package, including Certification of Conformance, dimensional report, all Certifications of Outside Vendors and material certifications, and any other forms required by the customer.
Responsible for assuring that all parts going to stock are properly marked for traceability to original paperwork.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification Experience in a machine and fabrication environment Ability to use mechanical inspection tools and gages.
Understanding of ISO9001 and an internal auditor certificate beneficial.
Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T, company as well as customers documentation a must.
Knowledge of software for inspection tools including 2D and 3D scanners and CMM a plus.
Microsoft Office knowledge and use of Excel & Word.
