Accurately audit and complete ongoing reviews of all Individuals' clinical records to ensure documentation compliance Assist with the coordination and documentation related to routine physical, dental, eye and ear exams, doctor, and follow-up appointments and emergency medical care Communicate and fax requests to medical providers in order to update and maintain current physician's orders and Medication Charts Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information File documentation in Individuals' records Assist with obtaining/ordering medical supplies and adaptive equipment Ensure compliance with all DCF, DDS, and SLC policies, guidelines, and licensing requirements, and enter related medical data as required, such as ISP assessments Occasionally provide support to Individuals as needed Work collaboratively with Clinical Staff and Life Coaches Skills/Qualities:
Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health personnel Demonstrate efficient usage of or willingness to learn moderately complex computer software systems High degree of coachability, flexibility, organization, and attention to detail Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to maintain medical records and adhere by all applicable laws, policies, guidelines, etc Ability to work independently and as part of a team and collaboratively with collaterals and medical providers Ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize, and multi-task Knowledge:
Demonstrate knowledge of HIPPA, State and Federal legal requirements relating to documentation, confidentiality, and legal issues pertaining to health information Knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology Current CPR, First Aid, and Human Rights certification.
Training can be provided upon hire.
General knowledge of Insurance, MassHealth, and Medicare practices and requirements Supervision:
Works as part of a team under the supervision of the Nurse and the Director of Adult Services Education:
Minimum requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certificate or Associate's Degree in related field preferred.
Medical Terminology certificate desirable.
Experience:
Qualified applicants should have at least one year experience in medical records or a related field.
Experience providing supports to adults with developmental disabilities, physical challenges and/or mental health issues is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
